Welcome to Butte County Employees Association Local #1 we are a member run organization established over 50 years ago. We strive to ensure all employees of Butte County government offices are treated equally and fairly. As you navigate through the site, you will find a wealth of information available to you. Our By-laws, MOU, Salary Schedule and much more is available to you on our Resources page. The current and many past newsletters are all posted on our Newsletter page. The Contacts page is where you can find the name of our Shop Stewards, Directors, Officers and Business Agent. Visit the Events page to find out what is going on this month and in some of the future months as events are scheduled. Finally, if you visit the Photos page, you will get to see some of the fun and exciting times we have had and get an idea of what it is like to attend some of our functions. You may also want to attend our regular Board of Directors Meetings held on the fourth Tuesday of every month. All members are welcome and encouraged to attend.

From your President I will always make myself available to everyone. The best way to contact me is via E-mail to jpulling@buttecounty.net I encourage everyone to participate in as many functions as you can. We have a lot of events that can use volunteers to help out. I look forward to watching our union grow since we have added the Social Services Workers Unit to BCEA Local 1. We are now the strongest Association in Butte County and a voice to reckon with. Come to our meetings and participate during our Open Forum a time for our members to speak up.
